4 ORCHID CARE TIPS

Native to tropical areas, orchids enjoy the warm temperatures and humid conditions of the summer months. But just as you do for yourself, it’s important to also protect your orchid from the sun’s rays.

These simple tips will help your orchid flourish.

Watch for heat stress. Heat stress happens when your orchid becomes dehydrated.

ADD MORE ICE OR WATER MORE FREQUENTLY

Prevent sunburn. Even though there isn’t an SPF for plants, they still can be susceptible to sunburn.

KEEP ORCHID IN A COOL AREA AND OUT OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT

Create optimal humidity. Depending on your location, the summer months mean either increased humidity or drier air.

Add 3 ice cubes in glass of water

Stir & wait 3 minutes
