This means that even the income of our beauty consultants has been growing significantly. These achievements merely confirm the power of teamwork and the importance of staying focused on our goals. women in a two-storey office space in Pasong Tamo,

In 2010, the first international Southeast Asia Leadership Conference was

held in Malaysia and was attended by Sales Directors from the Philippines,

HoW 'THe PoWer CArD' WorKS• A new Beauty Consultant must accomplish

all the activity requirements from her first to third month as a Beauty Consultant.

• The first set of activities is Power 10 activities (HOLD 3 SKIN CArE CLASSES, 3 INTErVIEWS, 3 CUSTOMEr SErVICES AND HAVE 1 NEW CUSTOMEr) that must be accomplished every week.

• The second set requires the New Beauty Consultant to attend at least 5 activities and/or specified classes. This must be done within the calendar month he/she signed in as a Beauty Consultant.

• If he/she signed in from the 20th to the 30th/31st of the month, he/she has until the next month to accomplish her 1st Month requirements. Succeeding months’ requirements will be counted under calendar months thereon.

• The new Beauty Consultant will receive a Special Power 10 Gift when she accomplishes all the

requirements for the month. She has a chance to receive up to 3 Special Power 10 gifts for every month she accomplishes all the requirements. When she successfully accomplishes the 3 months, she will also receive recognition in ovation.

• There will be one Special Power 10 gift per month across all months.

• Claim the Special Power 10 gift after accomplishing all your month 1, 2 or 3 required activities. Cut and submit each card monthly to Customer Service or to the Sales Development & Education Team for processing.

•Do at least 3 skin care classes every week. Always refer to yourself as a your customer's "Beauty Consultant for Life." Make sure to have at least P3,000 sales per class. The best place to get bookings is in your SKIN CArE CLASS. Always ask your guests for referrals for your next class or event.

•Do at least 3 team building interviews every week. Allot at least 2 to 3 hours of your time daily from Monday to Friday for bookings, coaching your hostesses and interviewing potential team members. Check if your hostesses are ready to be your new team members.

•Do at least 3 customer services & have 1 new customer every week. Incorporate creative and efficient ways to provide golden rule Customer Service. Once a customer feels that you care, she'll be more likely to turn to you again for all her beauty needs.

Thousands of Mary Kay family members in more than 35 countries helped their neighbors by volunteering more than 197,000 hours of community service around the world in one month from March 8 to April 8, 2012 to celebrate International Women's Day.

In the Philippines, we conducted various community service programs - jointly accomplished by independent sales force members and Mary Kay employees, like tree-nursing activity at the LaMesa Eco Park in Manila and feeding programs for street childreen and creative learning sessions with differently challenged children in Cebu, Davao and Zamboanga.
