How To Tell If Something’s Wrong
Normal vomiting will usually stop after 6 hours, but can sometimes last up to 24 hours. This happens in phases.Babies vomiting suddenly past 6 months of age could be a sign of a stomach infection.
How To Tell If Something’s Wrong
If happening along with a cold, ear infection, or urinary infection, vomiting usually is a sign that the baby should be checked out by a medical professional. Food allergies can be a cause as well, but be sure to talk over with your baby’s doctor before making any changes to their diet.
When To Visit The DoctorVisit the doctor if your baby has any of the following symptoms:
Fever
Swollen tummy
Blood in the vomit
A rash that doesn’t go away
Shortness of breath
Refusal to drink
It’s always better to be safe than sorry!
