I’M SORRY MOM!

Characters :

- Hasna Lathifah as Haruna

- Anisa Soverein as Haruna’s Mom

- Shella Juliasari C.S as Clara

- Isep Mumu M as Matthew

One day, there is a girl named Haruna. She always wanted to learn about

Karate, and then she saw a pamphlet, and there is written that “If you want to join

the Karate Training, please came into the place with the money of Rp. 300,000”.

On the way home after reading the pamphlet, then she saw Clara was practicing

karate and using several techniques. After that, she went home and she asks Rp.

300.000,00 to enter Karate Training. However, her mother doesn’t give it to her

because she doesn’t have any money.

Haruna : “Mom, I need Rp. 300.000 for tomorrow!”.

Haruna’s Mom : “For what ? that’s a lot of money.”

Haruna : “To enter Karate Training of course. I really really wants to learn

about Karate, and now I have a chance to do it!”.

Haruna’s Mom : “I can’t afford it. I don’t have much money for that. You know, to eat

everyday we are still difficult. How can you expect me to have so

much money for that one ?”.

Haruna : “Aahh.. I don’t care! It’s not my problem!”.

Haruna’s Mom : “I really don’t have any money. Look! My wallet is empty. I’m just a

farmer, please understand me!”.

Haruna : “Oh, come on, Mom! I need this to enter the registration. That

money is for the registration form and for Karate outfit as well!”.

Haruna’s Mom : “It’s easy to say something like that, but, it’s hard to find money for

that”.

Haruna : “So, I don’t care, Mom! You should have that money tomorrow,

since the opening of registration is tomorrow!”.

Haruna’s Mom : “You don’t understand. I don’t have any money now, don’t you get

it?! I just have money to pay the monthly money for your school.”

Haruna : “Tch.. Well, just give me that money Mom! (walking to the bedroom,

and opened the desk). Here you are! Mom, I use this money for the

registration tomorrow, okay?!

Haruna’s Mom : “W-wait... What are you doing ?! Stop, stop it! Haruna, what are you

gonna do with that money ? It’s for your school!”

Haruna : “I said it before, I’m going to use it for the registration, Mom. Now, I

want to see Clara, I want to learn about the basics of Karate!”

(Leave)

With angrily, Haruna left her house. She goes to Clara’s house, to meet Clara

to learn about the basics of Karate. But, when she walking out of her house, there is

Matthew, her friend, standing in front of her house.

Haruna : “What are you doing here, Matt ?” (walking slowly through Matt with

confusion).

Matthew : “What ? me ? Umm, I was just passing by your house, why ?”

Haruna : “Are you listening something here ?”.

Matthew : “Well.. a bit. I just heard you yell and say something rude to your

mom.”.

Haruna : “Wait, what ?! So, you are listening to our quarrel!”.

Matthew : “Well.. seems like that. I’m sorry Haruna, it’s not like that I want to

interfere with your problem or anything. But, I think you should

immediately apologize to your mom!”.

Haruna : “What ?! It’s none of your business!”.

Matthew : “Yes, I know it’s not my business. I’m just give you that advise

cause you’re my friend\”.

Haruna : “Huh.. yeah, yeah, whatever! Now, get out of my way!”.

Matthew : “Wait, where are you going?”.

Haruna : “I’m going to Clara’s house! Do I still have to repeat my word

again?!”.

Matthew : “No, you don’t have to. I also need to go somewhere right now. See

you!”.

Haruna : (Just leave)

After meeting with Matthew, Haruna immediately goes to Clara’s house. After

arriving at Clara’s house, Clara directly tells Haruna into Dojo. There, Haruna is

learning the basics of Karate with Clara.

Clara : “Well, let’s start now. Osh!”

Haruna : “Osh!”

Clara : “First basic is Kudo-Dachi, legs opened as wide as the shoulders

like this. Now try it!”.

Haruna : “L-like this ?”.

Clara : “Good! Back to your position! Enough with Dachi. Now, we move to

Choku-Zuki, you punch towards the stomach by Kudo-Dachi, like

this. Now, try it!”

Haruna : “Okay!” (performs as what Clara’s do)

Clara : “Not bad. Next, Mae-Geri, Kick to the stomach or the head of the

forward direction. Like this, now try it.”

Haruna : “Yosh!”

Clara : “You’re good enough for the first time, Haruna.. I think that’s

enough for today. Let’s get some rest!”

Haruna : “Yeah, I guess so.”

After finished practice Karate together, Haruna and Clara got rested for a while.

And they have a little chit chat, talking about the registration.

Clara : “Hey, Haruna. Have you decided to enter Karate Training ? The

registration is tomorrow, right ?”

Haruna : “Yeah, I know. And I’ll use my money’s school for that. I even

brought the money right now.”

Clara : “What ? Are you serious ?! How about your school ?”

Haruna : “Hmm.. It’s fine, I’ll help my mom to collect some money for my

school later.”

Clara : “What ? No, you don’t have to!”

Haruna : “Wait.. what are you talking about, Clara ?”

Clara : “If you are really wants to learn about Karate by entering the Karate

Training. I can do that for you!”

Haruna : “What do you mean ?” (confuse)

Clara : “I mean, I can put you in Karate Training for free without any

registration and become a student in that Karate Training!”

Haruna : “Wait.. But, how ?”

Clara : “Because my dad is the one who have that place, the Karate

Training. I just need to talk to my dad. So, you can become a student

there and practice karate with me!”

Haruna : “R-really?! Are you serious?! YEAAHH!! I can learn about karate!!!

Thank you so much, Clara. Thank you!”

Clara : “No, problem! That is what friends for! Now, you need to see your

mom and apologize to her!”

Haruna : “Yes, yes! I will! Thanks again! See you soon.”

Clara : “Okay, bye!”

In the middle of the road, Haruna meet Matthew.

Haruna : “Oh, Matt. Have you seen my mom ?!”

Matthew : “Well.. yeah. Why ?”

Haruna : “Where she is ?!”

Matthew : “She was in the garden harvesting the vegetables. Wait.. are you

going to apologize to your mom ?!”

Haruna : “Yes, I’m! I realized that I’ve said something rude and acted

disrespectful to my mom.. and now I regret it.”

Matthew : “Hmm.. I see.. that’s good! Remember, don’t act like that again to

you mom.”

Haruna : “Yeah.. I promise, I’ll never do that again to my mom, ever! Thanks

Matt, for being my friend, you’re such a nice friend! Okay, see you

later and thanks for your advise and everything!”

Matthew : “Okay, see you!”

After Haruna meeting Matthew, she is immediately went to the garden to meet

her mom to apologize to her.

Haruna : “Mom.. Mom.. Where are you ?!”

Haruna’s mom : “Yes, I’m here! What’s going on ? Why are you sweating, huh ?

Haruna : “It’s okay.. it’s nothing, Mom. (Hugging his mom) Mom, I’m so sorry

about what happened this morning, I terribly sorry. I was blinded by

my desire and said something rude to you mom.. I’m so sorry, I

really am!”

Haruna’s mom : “Eh.. no, it’s okay Haruna.. I’ve already forgive you. It doesn’t

matter anymore.. and I’m sorry that I couldn’t fulfill your desire to

learn karate.”

Haruna : “Thanks, Mom! It’s fine, you don’t need to apologize, I’m the one

who should understand about our condition.. Oh, here I return the

money that I've been taking from your desk, Mom.”

Haruna’s mom : “Why you do not use this money to enter Karate Training ?”

Haruna : “I don’t need it anymore, besides the owner of that Karate Training

is Clara’s dad! So, Clara said to me that she can talk with her dad to

allow me to enter Karate Training for free!”

Haruna’s mom : “Wow.. really ?! That’s wonderful! I’m so happy for you Haruna.

And please convey my thanks to Clara and her dad, Haruna!”

Haruna : “Don’t worry, Mom. I will!”

Finally Haruna can learn karate without having to pay at all, thanks to her

friend, Clara. And also her mother was already forgiven her.
