"Promoting a "family planning first" strategy can send a message to poor people: 'Wish you weren't here’.”

– Amartya Sen.

“The U.S. economy will require large and increasing amounts of minerals from abroad, especially from less developed countries. … Wherever a lessening of population pressures through reduced birth rates can increase the prospects for such stability, population policy becomes relevant to resource supplies and to the economic interests of the United States.”

Why We Cannot Lose Hope

“He [Jesus] said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in [your] weakness.” I will all the more gladly boast of my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions and calamities; for when I am weak [in myself], then I am strong [in Him].”

– 2 Corinthians 12:9-10.

“If God were your Father you would love Me ...you are of your father the Devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

“... and you will be hated by all nations for My Name’s sake. And then many will fall away, and betray one another, and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because wickedness is multiplied, most men’s love will grow cold. But he who endures to the end will be saved.”

– Matthew 24:9-13.

II. Characteristics of a Revolution

The Purposes of a Social Revolution

(1) To eradicate guilt; and

(2) To accumulate power.

Getting Rid of Guilt (1)

Fornicating teenagers feel guilty about what they are doing, and so they must be reassured that they are not doing anything wrong (“It’s perfectly natural”), and that they have every right to have sex, as long as they “act responsibly.”

Getting Rid of Guilt (2)

Women naturally feel that abortion is wrong, and they feel guilt when they kill their preborn children. So they must be told that “Abortion is just another way of ending a pregnancy, just like childbirth is.”

Getting Rid of Guilt (3)

Homosexuals are typically plagued with guilt. Instead of helping them change their deadly and corrupted behavior, anti-lifers tell them that they are fine just the way they are, and that the problem actually lies with “homophobes.”

Getting Rid of Guilt (4)

In Germany, prostitution is now considered to be “just another job.” So many married women who have lost their jobs have been told that if they do not accept jobs as prostitutes, they will lose their welfare benefits!

What Amuses Us?

Why Is Everything So Fouled Up?

“We make men without chests and we expect of them virtue and enterprise.

We laugh at honor and we are shocked to find traitors in our midst.

We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful.”

— C.S. Lewis.

ATTACKS ON THE

Part III:

Why Attack the Family? Why Attack the Family?

“As long as the child breathes the poisoned air of nationalism, education in world-mindedness can produce only rather precarious results. As we have pointed out, it is frequently the family that infects the child with extreme nationalism. The school should therefore use the means described earlier to combat family attitudes that favor jingoism ..." — UNESCO in 1949.

1. Political and One-World Philosophy

Completing the Revolution:Attacks on the Family

“We have to abolish the institution of marriage ... By the year 2000 we will, I hope, raise our children to believe in human potential, not God ... We must under- stand that what we are attempting is a revolution, not a public relations move- ment ... humanism is the goal.” — Gloria Steinem.

2. Loss of Faith

Humanist Manifesto II (1973)

“Humanists still believe that traditional theism, especially faith in the prayer-hearing God, assumed to live and care for persons, and to be able to do something about them, is an unproved and outmoded faith ... As non-theists, we begin with humans, not God; nature, not deity ... We can discover no divine purpose or providence for the human species. No deity can save us; we must save ourselves.”

“We have yet to beat our public health drums for birth control in the way we beat them for polio vaccine; we are still unable to put babies in the class of dangerous epidemics, even though that is the exact truth.”— Mary Steichen Calderone, founder

of the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States (SIECUS).

3. Pregnancy as a Disease

"The pill, in my opinion and that of my colleagues, is an important prophylaxis, perhaps the most important, against one of the gravest sociomedical illnesses extant. That, of course, is unwanted pregnancy."— Alan Guttmacher, M.D., former

Medical Director of the Planned

Parenthood Federation of America

(PPFA).

"[Pregnancy] is an episodic, moderately extended, chronic condition ... May be defined as an illness ... treated by evacuation of the uterine contents."— Abortionist

Warren Hern.

"We must destroy love ... Love promotes vulnerability, dependence, possessiveness, susceptibility to pain, and prevents the full development of woman's human potential by directing all her energies outward in the interests of others."— Women's Liberation, Notes from

4. Hatred of Love and Family

St. Paul on Love

Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, (love) is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.

― I Corinthians 13:4-8.

• Love of life - Genocide, murder, infanticide, euthanasia, suicide, abortion, sterilization and contraception.

• Natural sexual love - Homosexuality, pedophilia, pornography, adultery, masturbation, fornication, incest and rape.

5. Eugenics Then

"Birth control of itself, by freeing the reproductive instinct from its present chains, will make a better race. ... Eugenics without birth control seems to us a house built upon the sands. It is at the mercy of the rising stream of the unfit." — Margaret Sanger.

Eugenics Now

"A woman who stays at home, caring for children and the house, leads an extremely sterile existence. This kind of woman leads a parasitic existence that can aptly be described as "legalized prostitution" ... The time has not only come, it is past due, when marriage and motherhood as a life's goal should be cut out of the training of the female child ... The day has come when motherhood should be the lot and privilege of a select minority.” — Robin Morgan.

Eugenics Now

"The family is the key institution for the determination and perpetuation of women's subordination, the place where oppression is most excruciatingly experienced ... Marriage, with its legal obligations, institutionalized male authority and compulsory heterosexuality, is incompatible with sexual freedom.“ — Mica Niva.

Marxist Roots of the Attacks

“The family contains in germ not only slavery, but also serfdom. ... The married woman differs from the ordinary courtesan in that she does not let out her body on piece-work as a wage worker, but sells it once and for all into slavery. ... The family is founded on the open or concealed domestic slavery of the wife” — Friedrich Engels.

Marxism in Modern Feminism

“Engels did observe that the original division of labor was between man and woman for the purposes of childbreeding; that within the family. The husband was the owner, the wife the means of production; the children the labor; and that reproduction of the human species was an important economic system distinct from the means of production.”— Shulamith Firestone, The Dialectic of Sex.

Marxism in Modern Feminism

“Since marriage constitutes slavery for women, it is clear that the women's movement must concentrate on attacking this institution. Freedom for women cannot be won without the abolition of marriage." — Sheila Cronan of the National

Organization for Women (NOW).

"Every propaganda means, especially the press, radio and movies, as well as pamphlets, booklets, and lectures, must be used to instill in the Russian population the idea that it is harmful to have several children. We must emphasize the expenses that children cause, the good things that people could have had with the money spent on them. We could also hint at the dangerous effect of childbearing on a woman's health.” — Nazi demographics expert Professor Heinrich Wetzel.

Tactic #2: Breaking the Links

Between Family Members

Breaking the LinksBetween Family Members (1)

• The Link Between God and the Family: Agnosticism, atheism, indifferentism, the “New Age,” situational ethics and anti-apostolic propaganda.

• The Unitive Link Between Husband and Wife: Divorce, adultery, prostitution and the use of pornography.

• The Procreative Link Between Husband and Wife: Abortion, contraception, sterilization, masturbation and homosexual acts.

Breaking the LinksBetween Family Members (2)

• The Link Between Parents and their Children: Permissive sex education, school-based clinics, “values clarification,” parent licensing and government-sponsored day-care centers.

• The Link Between Parents and Grandparents: Euthanasia and “physician-assisted suicide.”

Tactic #3:Encourage Consumerism

Indirect Attacks on

the Family:Encouraging

Consumerism, Discouraging Childbearing

“The right to marry means little if it does not include the right to marry the person of one's choice."

— Massachusetts Supreme Judicial

Court, November 18, 2003.

4. Dilute the Meaning of “Family”

Diluting theMeaning of “Family”

“Queer politics is no

longer content to carve

out a buffer zone for a minoritized and protected subculture. Our goal is to challenge the pervasive and often invisible heteronormativity of modern societies ... Our task is to confront modern culture with its worst nightmare – a queer planet.”

– The 1993 “Queer Manifesto.”

"Polygamy is the ultimate feminist lifestyle. ... There's a shortage of good guys worth marrying, so it's better if many women marry the same man. I chose to marry my husband. The fact that he had five other wives was not a barrier." — Feminist lawyer Elizabeth Joseph.

Diluting the Meaning of “Family”

"Instead of marriage we want to promote a co-habitation law that ignores gender and allows more than two people in a partnership.” — Tiina Rosenberg, Sweden.

Cluelessness on the Loose

"In order to raise children with equality, we must take them away from families and communally raise them."— MaryJo Bane, Assistant

Professor of Education at

Wellesley College.

5. Day Care and Stranger Ideas

“It may be quicker and more efficient

to dispense with family-based reproduction. Society could then produce its future generations in institutions that might resemble state-sponsored baby hatcheries.”

— Time Magazine.

Cluelessness on the Loose

"What if parents committed to gender equity counteracted the effect of testosterone on boys in the womb by complementing it with injections of artificial female hormones? Structural gender difference could be eradicated from the beginning. Such a policy would lead to men and women with normal bodies but identical feminine brains. War, rape, boxing, car racing, pornography and

hamburgers and beer would soon be distant memories. A feminist paradise would have arrived." — Andrew Sullivan.

"The traditional family is disappearing almost everywhere ... patriarchal linear life is economically now over ... the one-earner, middle-class family is extinct." — Lester C. Thurow.

6. Declare the Family Dead

"The traditional family is disappearing almost everywhere ... patriarchal linear life is economically now over ... the one-earner, middle-class family is extinct." — Lester C. Thurow.

How Can You Defend AgainstAttacks on the Family?

• Set the example: Avoid evil!• Remember our priorities: God first, family or

ministry second, and pro-life activism third.• Get your children involved in the fight against the

Culture of Death.• Homeschool if possible – and it is possible.• Attend church with your children.• Get your kids involved with other Christian

children.• Laugh at the idiots who produce stupid ideas.

IV: Attacks on the Church

Gnosticism: We can be saved by knowledge.Agnosticism: Knowledge is limited. There may be a God, but we cannot confirm His existence.Atheism: There is no God.Anti-theism: Theism must be destroyed.

What Do Anti-Theists Want?

“I would like to see religion abolished as an institution, not just in this country, but worldwide ... it is indeed a form of mental illness. All churches should be closed down as unfit for human habitation. The ideas promulgated by churches are injurious to mankind ... I see no problem with government closure of churches ... What we really want is to see religion wither and die on the vine.”

– “The Goals of Atheism”

All churches should be closed down as unfit for human habitation. The ideas promulgated by churches are injurious to mankind ... I see no problem with government closure of churches ... What we really want is to see religion wither and die on the vine.”

— “The Goals of Atheism”

"... the power of government can be legitimately used against illiberal churches because doing so promotes greater freedom. ... Despite the Constitution's explicit prohibition of any religious test for public office, certain religious believers (notably Catholics) can justly be excluded from certain public functions, such as serving as judges."

— Steven Macedo. The New Right Versus the Constitution [1987].

“The pope is a threat to everyone on the planet. We must pursue a one-child family norm as quickly as possible. ... All relevant U.S. policy should promote a goal of a one-child family everywhere. We must achieve this goal as quickly as possible. ... I cannot emphasize strongly enough that the Vatican is a political power whose security interests are in conflict with U.S. security interests.”

– Population controller Stephen D. Mumford.

Why Destroy Church and Family?

(1) To complete the anti-life revolution;- Freedom from religion.- Freedom from gender.- Freedom from choice.- Freedom from thought.

(2) To eliminate guilt.

(3) To enable complete freedom of action.

(4) To control the troublesome remnant.

How to Fight Anti-Family and Anti-Religious Bigots

The Right Attitude

“Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. ... We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.”

– 2 Corinthians 1, 8-10.

We Are Called to beObedient, Not Victorious!

• We have been conditioned to win.• When we can’t see the results of our

efforts, we lose interest and give up.• Victory is in God’s hands, not ours.• Worrying less about winning will make you

more durable and focused.• “The horse is made ready for the day of

battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord” — Proverbs 21:31.

“When we face that awesome moment, the final judgment, it is a terrible moment of loneliness. You are there alone standing before God – and a terror will rip your soul like nothing you can imagine. But there’ll be a chorus of voices that are heard beautifully and clearly in the next world – and they will plead for everyone who has been in this movement. They will say to God, “Spare him, because he loves us,” and God will look at you and say not, “Did you succeed?” but “Did you try”?”

““... be steadfast, ... be steadfast, immoveable, always immoveable, always abounding in the work abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing of the Lord, knowing that, in the Lord, your that, in the Lord, your labor is not in vain.”labor is not in vain.”
