How can God become a friend? Is friendship with God possible?

Lessons from the life of Abraham

Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. And he was called the friend of God. (James 2:23)

Abraham was a tent-dweller i.e. he lived a life of testimony & a life of separation

from the world

Abraham was a tent-dweller along with his wife Sarah (Gen 18)

Abraham was a tent-dweller in the heat of the day (Gen 18) i.e. even in difficult times

Abraham was a tent-dweller when he had the son Isaac (Gen 21)
