MY WARDROBE

So I went to my wardrobe and tried to choose 4 special items of clothing and accessories. First I came up with my woollen waistcoat. I saw it 6 years ago in a shop window but it was quite expensive, so I decided to wait for the sales in January. I was lucky, it was still there and much cheaper.Since it matches most of my trousers and jeans, I usually wear it in winter.

Questions: 1. Do you like shopping in the sales? Why/Why not? 2. How much money do you spend on clothes and other accessories? 3. If you see a garment you like in a shop, do you buy it immediately or do you prefer to wait for the sales?

Another favourite of mine is my necklace. I bought it in Portugal eight years ago. I used to wear it a lot with a fitted top and both matched quite well.Now, it’s a bit old and some beads are missing because my little daughter usually wears it and plays with it at home. It’s one of her favourite necklaces, too.

Questions:1. Have you ever worn a necklace? 2. Are they just for boys or can girls wear them too? 3. Do you like girls and women who wear them?

These are a pair of hiking boots. They are Gore-Tex, and quite comfortable and they are approximately ten years old. I bought them because some years ago I used to go hiking with my husband and some friends at weekends. I haven’t worn them for years because I have two little daughters and hiking is one of the hobbies I had to give up, but just for a while. When they grow up I will take it up again, and I hope my daughters will do so.

I have got three watches and this is one of them. It is a present from my husband some years ago. I used to wear it a lot, I liked it very much, but now it doesn’t work and it needs fixing. Besides, I find the strap quide big and a bit uncomfortable.Now, I keep it in a drawer since I’ve got two more watches to choose from and I think that’s one of the reasons why I don’t get it fixed.
