1. With the support of GTZ Mr. Vajda Lajos and Mr. Szabó Tibor took part in October 2008 at Leipziger Messe
• meeting Mrs. Jutta Demel, who searched for new partners for the Oxenweg project
2. January 2009 – Grüne Woche, Berlin• Mrs. Demel made a presentation about the Project and invited the Romanian

5. October 2009 – Meeting with Hungarian partners in Csorvas, Hungary

• associations from Covasna and Harghita signed a Partnership Agreement (5th November 2009)

Harghita:
• CARITAS, Gheorgheni
• in Covasna and Harghita County have been several “collecting points” for the oxen (ex. Belin, Gheorgheni)
• the European ox-trails have started from this region
• 2 routes:South – Covasna-Brasov-Sibiu-Timisoara-Hungary-Austria-Germany
North – Harghita-Bistrita-Mures-Cluj-Hungary…

• these two counties will be the project-coordinators in Romania
• Sign of an Agreement:
1. Finding local partners- Covasna: Brasov, Sibiu and Alba
- Harghita: Moldova, Bistrita, Cluj
2. Finding resources for implementing several activities related to the project
3. Developing the project at local level: conferences, seminars, promotional materials

• Covasna County will be represented by the south-eastern part of it – Baraolt Region (Aita Mare, Belin)
• Three pillars on which it can be build the project:1. Multiculturalism – the Saxon exposure on architecture,
gastronomy and folk custom
