The Pearl Girls Raise Money for Multiple Sclerosis

ATHENS, GA: The Pearl Girls are so excited to be raising money for Multiple Sclerosis

this October. They are helping the fundraising efforts of a participant in the Bike MS Ride in

New York City on October 21st. Multiple Sclerosis affects many people all over the country. and

they could not be more thrilled to help such a great cause that touches so many people’s hearts.

Kafi Sanders, a dear friend of The Pearl Girls, is participating in the Bike MS Ride in

New York in October. The Pearl Girls are assisting her with her fundraising efforts as their

fundraiser for the month of October. Kafi started participating in the Bike MS Ride because her

friend from high school, Dianna, is living with Multiple Sclerosis. Kafi also discovered that MS

was a woman's disease; it is 2-3 times more common in women than men. Approximately

250,000 to 350,000 people in the United States have been diagnosed with MS, and

approximately 200 new cases are diagnosed each week. MS is a disease that affects many

people, and it can cost a lot of money to manage throughout someone's lifetime. This disease can

also be very difficult to diagnose because of the symptoms. The Pearl Girls are thrilled to be able

to help raise money for this important cause.

Customers can contribute to the cause through The Pearl Girls simply by making a

purchase on www.ThePearlGirls.com during the month of October. The customer may choose to

donate 25 percent of their purchase to Bike MS Ride at checkout, at no cost to them. The

customer may also leave their name, so the group knows whom the donation is from. It’s a

simple way for people to give back and get wonderful jewelry at the same time. The Pearl Girls

are extremely appreciated of any contributions made by their customers.

The Pearl Girls love to be a part of causes and charities that affect the lives of people all

over the world. They have worked with the Susan G. Komen Foundation, J. L. Wiley

Foundation, the Foster Care Support Foundation, the Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro,

the Leukemia and Lymphoma society and multiple other organizations and groups in the past.

They hope to be able to reach out and make a difference in more ways in the future, and they are

extremely excited and proud to be working with the Kafi Sanders and the Bike MS Ride this

October.
