The first marriage rituals were conducted by tribe leaders thousands of years ago.

Many of our traditions used today originated from these ceremonies.

Some traditions are: Wearing white The bachelor party The reception The honeymoon

The groomsmen were in charge of keeping rivaling tribes away from the chapel

The bachelor PARTY began

in Sparta around 850 BC

Men and women who were not
