Colin the Aardvark

Target Audience

Despite his pose in this picture, my younger brother, George is a fairly average 11 year old...and this is the kind audience I had in mind with my animation. The laid back, intelligent and developed sense of moral humor and yet adult naivety that my brother has is what I feel Colin entertains. Colin’s activities are comic in a moral way and do provoke some thought regarding understanding the comedy. However, all of his antics and child friendly and feature not adult references.

I feel that the moderately sped comedy of Colin the Aardvark combined with the unusual characters would appeal to someone like George and his friends, who enjoy simple and short bursts of silly, slapstick humor.
