enhancing captive power generation capacity to 30 MW in 2008

production capacity to 240,000 Metric Tons per Annum in 2009

•Added a new Corrugator in 2010

•Added a new box machine and enhanced box making capacity to

30,000 Metric Tons per Annum in 2011

Symbolic View of Management

The executive management of the organization believes in the symbolic view, which supports the fact that the manager is not the only one responsible for success or failure of the organization. Performance, according to this view is influenced by factor’s managers don’t control, such as economy, customers, government policies, industry conditions, law and order situation, supply of energy and competitor’s actions. CSR(Company Social Responsibility)

As a responsible organization we are committed to our social and environmental responsibilities.

We focus on improving the safety of our facility and employee health; hence we are continuously engaged in the process of further improving upon the safety standards so that we have an accident free environment at our workplace.

Raw material waste generated during production from other Lakson Group sister companies is sent back to Century Paper and Board Mills for recycling.

The Hasan Ali Kara Bhai Foundation

The Hasan Ali Kara Bhai Foundation was established in 1954, and still assumes social responsibility on behalf of the entire Lakson Group. The Foundation undertakes various financial aid programs and charitable contributions. It owns and operates a multi-storied office building in the centre of Karachi and the entire rental income from this property is being used for philanthropic purposes. The Foundations operates two eye hospitals – Lakson Medical Complex in Swabi & Sahiwal - aimed to cure eye diseases and to eliminate curable blindness from Pakistan.
