S. Jay comes at you with a fresh groovy flavour of House music heavily inspired by his upbringing… From his parents’ love of Northern Soul, RnB and Motown which meant that he was never too far away from the all-time classics, to the excellent variety in the nightlife of the City of Leeds.
Fast forward to 2015; armed with a complete understanding of the flexibilities in the House music genre due to countless hours and late night sessions in the studio….the alias S. Jay was born. The year ended with S. Jay beating off more than 600 applicants to win 1st prize in the Groove Armada & Brodanse Beatport remix competition. Also recently starting his own label – Domino Effects Records with studio partner Nick Ostertag.
