COSTUME – FEMALE LEAD

Like our male lead, we also want our female lead to not fit into any character archetype. We want her to feel relatable and down to earth. A leather jacket and jeans would make her look causal but also give her a slight ‘badass’ appearance.

We also want her to wear practical clothes which make her seem down to earth. As she’ll have to be running and clambering away from the home invader we wont want her to wear a skirt or a dress.

We want her to seem mature, so we will avoid clothing that it associated with teenagers. Clothes we’ll want to avoid include: hoodies, leggings, jeggings and trainers

However, we have to make sure we don’t give her a costume of a very middle aged person because we want a young lady female lead. Also as our actor is fairly young, if we dress her up too old, she will seem more young in comparison to her old clothing style.
