  • 2. Introduction The Raymond group was incorporated in 1925 Raymond's is one of the Indias leading fabric and garment manufacturers and fashion retailers. The company is led by CEO Gautam Hari Singhania.
  • 3. Raymond is the largest producer of worsted suiting fabrics commanding over 60% share of the market. Group also has business interests in readymade garments, designer wear, cosmetics & toiletries, engineering files, tools and prophylactics.

Inflation also was at elevated levels. The forecast on raw material prices betrayed steady wool prices had suddenly taken an upswing from due to both reduced output of wool in Australia and New Zealand
  • 14. Why raymond? Raymond's exports, which slipped last year to Rs 60.27 crore, is expected to recover in current fiscal years.There are signs of improved overseas demand. Raymond's output of finished fabric had reached an all time high of 247.93 lakh metres. Raymond's own denim division is in the process of expanding production capacity by 5 million metres In future they will increase volumes in USA, Canada, China, CIS and East European countries.

Raymonds emerged as a undisputed market leader in the garment industry. The brand Raymond has the unique perception over its customers psyche. All the plants used are ISO certified, leveraging on cutting- edge technology that adheres to the highest quality parameters while also being environment friendly.
