• I was part of a focus group research questionnaire with my class mates, in which we discussed various questions all related to magazines and their content.

• What magazines do you read the most?

Straight away the first magazine genre said was Music.

Then on reflection other magazines such as Gossip and Fashion were discussed also.

• What price would you be okay paying for a magazine?

Simultaneously, each person said between £2-£3 would be the average amount they would spend on a magazine.

• Approximately how many magazines do you purchase in a month?

Some people said that they do not regularly purchase magazines so couldn’t give a number as it would change literally depending on the issue and whether it caught their attention enough to buy.

• From this focus group research and feedback I have taken what I have found and used similar things in my magazine.

1. My Magazine genre will be Music.2. My magazine will be between £2 and £3.3. I intend to make my magazine appealing and

eye catching so it would be one of the magazines the focus group would buy.

4. My magazine research and inspiration were based on NME, Q and Billboard magazine.

5. The article of my double page spread will be an interview.
