MassMutual: Sponsor MicrositeChallenged with making sure all advisors understand the implications of ‘fee disclosure’ regulations, MassMutual turned to HMG to design, build and program a series of microsites surrounding this topic. Working with the retirement services team at MM, we gathered input from various stakeholders and streamlined the online presentation of the materials in a quick, clean and simple manner.

results HMG delivered the finished product ahead of schedule and was applauded by both client and various external resources for our ability to synthesize strategy, design and build in the microsite series.

Jabil Circuits: LinkedIn StrategyHMG was hired as a subject matter expert to train key executives on harnessing the power of LinkedIn to support pre-established corporate objectives. As core components of our role, we educated executives on the importance of social media for global B2B organizations and guided Jabil in establishing company policy regarding posting guidelines for employees. In addition, we trained numerous distinct sales groups in the use of LinkedIn as a means of prospecting and networking effectively. This training was highly specific to each group’s specialization and target audience.

results HMG exceeded established LinkedIn adoption goals. LinkedIn involvement was credited with aiding sales in re-establishing relationships with clients who moved elsewhere and in establishing new relationships with prospective clients.

Citi: Corporate Facebook PageLooking to launch a corporate presence on Facebook, Citigroup enlisted HMG to identify and develop content, monitor conversations and support corporate initiatives such as Citi’s 200 Year anniversary and US Olympic sponsorship. Current page: facebook.com/citi

results Since launch, the page has generated over 500k likes and continues to engage users. The page, through HMG’s work, has brought together all regional Facebook pages under a single consistent application that is also present on regional pages. Citi: Search Engine OptimizationWith a need to drive organic traffic from key terms and avoid competing with other Citigroup online entities, Citigroup sought the expertise of HMG to develop a comprehensive search engine optimization strategy. HMG completed an SEO benchmark analysis, implementation plan, recommendations and training video for content writers and website managers for ongoing optimization efforts.

results The site (citigroup.com) gained 51 page one rankings in the Leadership category and 22 in the Mike Corbat category. Total rankings, across the three major search engines (Google, Bing and Yahoo!) increased 206%. Organic traffic and search rankings will increase even further due to the ongoing improvements learned through the trainings.

Electric Insurance: LinkedIn MediaLooking to capitalize on the targeting capabilities within the LinkedIn advertising platform, Electric Insurance (a GE subsidiary) tapped HMG to conceptualize, create and launch an auto insurance campaign targeting GE employees. As core components of this test, we both segmented and geo-targeted their audience and delivered a series of ad campaigns tied to landing pages supported by triggered, educational emails.

results HMG delivered a lift in media comparable to other efforts we were concurrently deploying, such as Facebook. The paid LinkedIn media campaign continues to be a part of their outbound lead prospecting efforts.

Chegg: Brand AmbassadorTextbook rental industry pioneer – Chegg.com – hired HMG to help them crack the code on driving brand awareness for a new product category within the coveted college marketplace. Partnering with Chegg and other agency partners, we created a brand ambassador program tied to the simple concept that students need cash and value discounts. Applying a technology bent to that insight, we built a brand ambassador platform (now called SPARK) that automated the distribution of unique coupon codes via a variety of online and offline tactics (Facebook, Twitter, text messaging, landing pages, flyers, etc.).

results We grew this program to over 30,000 student ambassadors at over 3,000 colleges and universities in the United States. The end result illustrated a proven brand lift, higher lifetime value customers and sales exceeding $20 million.

Tory Burch: Strategic Analysis of Customer Service ExperienceThe Tory Burch brand continues to experience explosive growth and accelerated demand from a customer service perspective. Given these challenges, Tory Burch asked Horizon Marketing Group to complete a formal analysis of their online customer services experience and provide a series of recommendations (toryburch.com).

results The recommendations were well received by the executive leadership team and were soon implemented within the customer service section of the website. After this over-haul of toryburch.com, the client instantly saw drops in customer service inquiries and increased efficiencies in conflict resolution situations: bit.ly/TBCustomerSupport.

Citi: Mobile WebsiteTaking strides to improve the mobile user experience, while adhering to strict brand guidelines and varied mobile phone requirements (from both a content and usability perspective), Citigroup hired Horizon Marketing Group to conceptualize, design, build and program a new mobile website. results Through simple navigation and other mobile optimization, site traffic has increased 300% year-over-year since launch.

Kenneth Cole: 360 Degree Holiday CampaignLooking for a holistic spring marketing plan in 2012, the Kenneth Cole (KC) brand at the Geneva Watch Group turned to Horizon Marketing Group for help. As part of this solution, HMG worked with a small budget of under $1 million to launch a fully interactive brand-based campaign targeted at specific KPIs.
