Initial Ideas
Jen Katy Liv Mil
As shown in the video, we had a lot
of different ideas in different topic
areas. We feel that by having ideas
from multiple briefs it was helpful
towards deciding our final chosen
decision. With a lot of thought, we
have decided to create an
advertising package for an online
clothes store targeting males and
females aged 16-26.
We have chosen this particular topic because we are each very
interested in fashion, and equally interested in how these services are advertised. We feel that it is
very important that we, ourselves are interested in what we create,
therefore by targeting our product to a similar age to us, we are able
to understand their interests.
Along with our chosen brief came 3 ancillary products, of which we had to choose 2 out of. We selected to create a radio advertisement and a TV programme sponsorship sequence. We thought the radio advertisement would be an interesting task, as it has not been done
before by any members of our group, therefore making the task a challenge and helping us gain more knowledge about the
media industry. Likewise, we have chosen the TV programme sponsorship sequence
because a lot of our influences regarding businesses sponsor television programmes
which relate to our target audience.
