Adidas’s new ad, which is in a format of game, is designed to run as an ad between stories. The game was designed to engage football fans with an ad that allows them to perform as many skills as possible. Snapchatters can play against their friends for the top score, and as players progress they unlock new skills and geofilters. Fans can also unlock the game at will via Snapcodes found in football cages across London and in Adidas’ London stores. It’s one aspect of the ‘Here To Create’ brand campaign that is looking to encourage creativity in athletes

Swyp is a new sim card issued by Etisalat to attract
young adult costumers who switched to virgin’s mobile
network. Millennials are one of the biggest consumers
and generators of digital mediums. Therefore, it is not
surprise that swyp’s ad campaign focuses on providing
more data with plans. Also, swyp is providing wifi
hotspots in locations around the country where young
adults gather. It will be interesting to see how other
industries will follow in future campaigns targeting the
evermore popular millennials.

Keeping to its aim of placing 200 Tesla vehicles by 2019 as part of Dubai Taxi Corporation’s ever expanding fleet, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed recently deployed the first 50 Tesla cars to hit the road. The fleet will consist of both the Model S and Model X which will all be equipped with self-driving capabilities, thus keeping true to Sheikh Mohammed’s strategy of converting 25 per cent of total journeys in the Emirate into driverless rides by 2030 and fostering his Green Economy for Sustainable Development and Dubai Smart Autonomous Mobility Strategy initiatives.

General safety videos which inform passengers about life vest, seatbelt, oxygen mask, and impact bracing position instructions have all adhered to the same old traditional template by most airlines in the past. Etihad Airways, however, took on a different approach this time around. The video, named ‘Runway to Runway’, was presented at the New York Fashion Week and exhibits a fashion show preparation that showcases different couture outfits by Julien Macdonald. Passengers flying with the airline will able to view the video on-board starting from October, although it will not replace the existing safety briefing.

Coca-Cola’s latest campaign featured a 3D billboard which was designed using 1,760 LED screens, each uniquely programmed to display a motion that mimics a wave of water providing viewers with a scintillating experience. The advertisement took place in New York’s Times Square, and was awarded with two Guinness World Records™ titles: “The Largest 3D Robotic Billboard” and “The First 3D Robotic Billboard”. Spectators who witnessed the event were offered seating and different Coca-Cola products. Interestingly, the advertisement was placed in the same spot that Coca-Cola set up its first billboard in Times Square a 100 years ago.

Being the only country in the world than bans
women from driving, King Salman has issued a
decree allowing women to drive for the first time.
This royal order will be implemented by 24 June
2018. The move was welcomed by the US state
department, which called it "a great step in the
right direction“. This could have a strong impact
on the automotive industry, and open up the
target consumers to capture female desirability.
