An app that provides
TACTICS
There is a general lack of employment for skilled workers and graduates.
The importance of skill in the market is less than that of a degree. Companies give jobs based on a degree rather than a skill.
Hence the public focusses on getting a degree rather than a skill development.
But hobbies have a lot of potential. They provide a different area of expertise for a person.
Hobbies would provide an alternate field of work. Something to do aside from one’s daily jobs.
The plan of action would be to make the demand for such works meet the skilled workers meet.
The company shall be a new one so it needs to have a completely novel identity in the market.
It should appear as a fresh face in the market : A novel idea right out of the egg.
The biggest advantage or asset for any company has to be a new idea or a new technique to implement an old one.
The market already has companies that provide services or connect you to those that do. They basically are the masters in doing the job they do,
And they cover up basically all the stuff that there is to provide in all the fields possible.
So What Is Our
POINT OF DIFFERENCE
We cannot beat them on their technique due to their positioning in the market. But we can compete with them by having an innovative idea.
Our POD shall be focussing on people to provide services that are not a part of their jobs : something out of their profession.
The target audience would be those that love their hobbies and skills and are of a lower income group
And those that may need them for small jobs on a need basis as they are to busy to do those themselves.
They can be those that have enough income to dispense on these services or even families where both the partners have a profession.
With the target market defined, our job would be to be able to link them up : a supply meets demand strategy
The first thing to do would be setting up a database of such people so that a user can get ample search results.
As India is a developing country with various unemployed yet skilled craftsmen, our focus should be on India first.
And there too, the big cities so that we can get easy infrastructure – collaborators and correspondents.
India has a history of being proficient in various skills and arts
And in the rat race for money many of these small talents go unnoticed and unappreciated
The main reason is that big companies do not recognize these talents and hence the public tends to overlook them.
Why not employ such people for what they can do and want to do. We would essentially be tapping into an unchartered territory.
There are people who may require the help of these skilled people as they might not have time for those jobs themselves.
These small hobbies and skill sets can be of more aid to others in time of need than we can imagine
There can be many proffesional organizations for eg. there are many teachers leagues
There are many trade unions too that we can collaborate with.
This can be extended to a social service platform too by associating with ngos

A user can register on the app with his details and his skills or hobbies.

The location must be added. It plays a major role. People would like to search for these services in their own neighborhood as it would be cost effective

A person will search according to the skill or hobby they need help of.

And will choose the credentials he or she likes best and what fits into the specifics of the task

They shall quote a price that they are willing to pay for the job. And the person concerned can quote one back.

Once the price is settled, they can move on to the details of the other person and contact them as to how and when it needs to be done.

One can check the ratings or reviews of the person before opting for him and can give a review after the work is done.

The app will get a share of the trade money. There will also be a price per click

The idea is to create a social network of people who can help and who need help. This creates a self dependent society.

A timeline needs to be set accordingly.
A schedule is based on the implementation planning and infrastructure availability
The infrastructure for such a social network site has to be dense.
A schedule can only be kicked 0ff after a suitable investor funding.
After that the professional organizations and trade unions should be covered within three months.
Reaching out to the public after that would be easy and compatible.
