PSO IN EDUCATION

• Partnering with The Citizens Foundation (TCF), the leading education based NGO in Pakistan for the education of 125 children hailing from all provinces of the country.

• Working for elimination of child labor, PSO worked with Zindagi Trust and Child Care Foundation to take 520 children off the streets and into classrooms and provide them with education.

• PSO also worked with Aman foundation to provide internationally certified vocational trainings to six deserving candidates while over 200 children hailing from needy backgrounds were provided nutritionally balanced meals.

PSO HEALTH CARE

• Supported construction of a patient bay for Indus Hospital, the largest privately run charity hospital in Pakistan.

• Enabled the purchase of medical machinery including dialysis machines for Sindh institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT), anesthesia and ventilator machines for Al-Shifa Trust, eye treatment machines for Al-Ehsan Eye Hospital etc.

COMMUNITY BUILDING AND ENVIRONMENT• Helped the Heritage Foundation set up 20 hand pumps

and worked with other organizations including Seed Pakistan and the Taraqee Foundation to set up clean drinking water plants for the populace in rural Sindh and Balochistan.

• Supported rehabilitation of over 250 differently abled children across Pakistan in association with Dar-ul-Sukun, Family Education Services Foundation, Pakistan Disabled Foundation and others.

• Helped house and educate over 250 orphans and elderly persons by extending support to Roshni Homes, Panah Shelter Homes and other credible organizations.

NATIONAL DISASTER RELIEF

• Earth Quake Relief:• PSO stood with the people of Balochistan, those who had lost their beloved

ones and homes due to earthquake on September 24, 2013 by arranging tents, mosquito nets, ration bags and mineral water to provide relief to affected people of District Awaran, Balouchistan.

• Flood Relief Monsoon Rains Cyclone Relief

Akhtar Rukhsana Memorial Trust by Bahria Town Providing;• Bahria Town is providing free medical treatment, from dialysis to open heart

surgery, from bone marrow transplant to general treatments in 3 large Bahria Town hospitals.

• Mobile dispensaries providing free medicines have also been setup in rural areas.

• Regular financial support is being provided to Al-Shifa Trust, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust, Sahara Trust, SOS Village. Nearly Rs. 200 million has so far been spent on medical treatment of various Patients in Rawalpindi and Lahore.

BAHRIA EDUCATION

• Bahria Town running FREE education centers for over 4,000 orphans with educational and lodging facilities. Providing micro-finance loans to students in Rawalpindi Agricultural University.• Bahria Town gives scholarship to more than 7,000 students

every year and runs a host of primary and secondary education schools throughout Pakistan.• Reach Public School, Kallar Syedan School, Ace International

Academy, Bahria Town Rawalpindi and Behria town school, Lahore.
