Tactical Machining manufactures a variety of receivers in house that allow us to offer you a broad range of products from one manufacturer.

Completing the new variance customer paperwork is the first step towards having your own receivers manufactured. You will specify your own:

Step 1:

Once form is completed we will submit it to the BATFE for approval. This will take 4-6 weeks for approval based on their volume of variances in queue. This timeline allows us to complete Step 2.

When you submit the new variance customer form to us you will also provide a logo for your magwell. Any graphic file works but the following are preferred art files.

Logo space roughly 1”x1” so overly complicated logos difficult to reproduce or may need to be simplified.

Step 2:

Now with your logo file in hand we will redraw it so that it can be engraved properly on your receivers. Once your logo is redrawn you will receive a marking variance form with a visual preview of your new receivers.

Step 2:

Now that you have approved your marking variance form we will cut a test lower on an 80% receiver for your approval.

Step 3:

When we have received ATF variance approval and customer marking artwork approval we are ready to manufacture. At step 3 we are able to schedule machine time and take a deposit. We can ship receivers in the white or have them anodized. Anodizing adds 3-4 to timeline.
