STEP 1 Define and develop URI scheme

• apps also have a specific URI scheme. Some known examples are fb:// vimeo:// pinterest:// !
• You can make your own URI scheme e.g. mycompany://!
• Ask your developer to implement a URI scheme!
STEP 2 Implement a handler
• A web domain has a URL structure that enables deep linking.!
!• For an app this structure needs to be created. Otherwise
there is no destinations to deep link the users to.!
• Example: mycompany://products/blue-shoes!
• Ask your app developer to implement a handler for your app.!
STEP 3 Enable deferred deep linking
• Shortcut‘s deferred deep linking SDK is implemented in the app!
• The users that click on your mobile deep linkis get uniqe identifiers and can thereby be matched to the correct content when they first open the app after they have installed it.!
• Ask your app developer to install the SDK that enables deferred deep linking.!
