In Britain, Obama, the U.S., NATO and U.N. have high

favourability; domestic politicians and organisations

much lower

Now, I’d like you to rate your feelings toward some people, organisations, and countries, with 100 meaning a

VERY WARM, FAVORABLE feeling; 0 meaning a VERY COLD, UNFAVORABLE feeling; and 50 meaning not

particularly warm or cold. You can use any number from 0 to 100, the higher the number the more favorable

your feelings are toward that person, country, or organisation.

Thinking generally about threats, the economy is

very strong – but Iran, Syria, nuclear war, terrorism

and Muslim extremism all come up as big fears

Thinking about everything that's going on in the world right now, in brief -- what ONE thing troubles you the

most?

Thinking specifically about situation in Iran/Iran’s nuclear programme, does t it pose a very big threat, a

moderate threat, not much of a threat or no threat at all to each of the following?

Iran seen as threat to all by majority,

biggest threat to Israel

Clear majority support for sanctions against

Iran to discourage the nuclear programme

As you may know, the European Union has imposed strong economic and trade sanctions on Iran to try to

discourage Iran’s nuclear programme. Do you support or oppose these sanctions?

And even after highlighting recent oil embargo,

sanctions have majority support –

especially amongst opinion elite

Iran has recently cut off their oil supply to nations, including Britain, that have instituted economic sanctions

against them. With this in mind, would you support or oppose sanctions against Iran?

But most doubt that sanctions will prevent Iran

from developing nuclear capabilities

How likely do you think it is that the goal of preventing Iranian development of nuclear capabilities can be

achieved through sanctions and diplomacy?

Not much trust for Iran in negotiations

The Iranian government has recently indicated that it is interested in negotiating in light of the economic

sanctions. Would you trust these negotiations to be done in good faith by Iran?
