DESCRIPTION
Baltic Ground Services (BGS) provides passenger and aircraft ground handling and into-plane fuelling services at Lithuanian, Polish and Italian airports. Dynamically growing company constantly analyzes development opportunities in the markets of other countries as well (Ukraine). With 20 years of experience and a highly qualified team of professionals, we provide services to the recognized leaders in the aviation sector. BGS provides all standard passenger and aircraft ground handling services, including check-in and boarding of passengers, baggage handling, aircraft cabin and exterior cleaning, cabin heating, de-icing, aircraft towing and pushback, catering delivery as well as other services. We handle 15 thousand flights and 1.5 million passengers every year. In 2007, the company established the ISO 9001 quality management system. In 2008, BGS has become the first in Europe and the tenth in the world ground handling company to be awarded the ISAGO safety and quality certificate for ground handling services. ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations) is an audit programme for ground handling companies and airlines established in 2008 by IATA and consisting of an internationally recognized set of requirements, evaluating management of ground handling companies’ processes and control systems at the company and airport level. In 2010, a Polish-based subsidiary of BGS, Baltic Ground Services PL (BGS PL), received all necessary licences to provide ground handling services at six largest airports of Poland – Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Poznan and Katowice. Moreover, BGS PL has received a licence to supply aviation fuel for the Polish market. The licence issued by the Polish Energy Regulatory Office (URE) is valid until the end of the year 2030. Currently, BGS PL provides ground handling services at Warsaw airport and into-plane fuelling services at Krakow and Katowice airports. By implementing its plans of further development, the company will continue consistent development in other airports of Poland (Wroclaw, Gdansk, Poznan). In 2012 Baltic Ground Services IT s.r.l. (BGS IT) completed the certification process required to start rendering ground handling services at the Lamezia Terme Airport, Italy. Having received all the required permits from the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (Ente Nazionale per l'Aviazione Civile) Baltic Ground Services IT s.r.l. (BGS IT) is now entitled to provide a full scope of ground handling services, including passenger and ramp handling. Currently, BGS has 220 employees, BGS PL - 130 employees and BGS IT - 10 employees. Fuel Depot at Vilnius
Having won an international tender for the lease of the fuel depot at
Vilnius International Airport, we have laid a solid infrastructural
foundation for aircraft fuel continuous supply to our bases located in
Vilnius, Palanga and other airports.

on 18th of July 2012
Fuel Depot at Katowice
BGS started to use own fuel base in Katowice International airport on
the middle of May 2012. The volume is 200 cub.m.
Fuel Depot at Warsaw and Krakow
BGS will start to use own fuel base in Krakow International airport on
the middle of February 2013 and in Warsaw till the end of March
2013. The volume of each will be 200 cub.m.
