Why the commons model? Strategic lines – procommons production model
The re-appropriation of the economy. Place well-being and life at the centre of the economy. Innovation and economic competitiveness. Boost the competitive advantages of the new technologies, based on open knowledge, fostering collaboration, innovation and capacity of internationalisation of the economy of Barcelona. Sustainability. Promoting a productive model and of consumption based on the reuse of resources and existing infrastructures and renewable energy. More democratic and efficient government institutions. Better public use of resources, open up more channels of participation and activation of the civil society in the resolution of common problems and public needs.
