DESCRIPTION
The ban on shark products in Brunei will come into effect from January 2014. The shark fishing ban is right across the board with fishing of "all shark species" restricted along with a complete embargo on trade of shark fins, shark meat and sale and consumption of shark fin soup and associated shark products such as shark cartilage pills.
