Introduction
The Coalition of Democrats for Electoral Reform (CODER) has been accredited as an election observer for the April 2011 elections in Nigeria. As a non-partisan organization, we are commited to a hitch free general elections.
This guide has been prepared for you the CODER Election observers on the process to monitoring and reporting election issues based on your observation to the CODER Pollwatch platform.

The Reporting Process
• There are two major ways of observing and reporting your findings:
Reporting Process - Checklist• Checklist is attached. The observer must report all findings at the polling unit including
the following:

Arrival of Election Material - On Time- Late
Electoral Officials -On time- Late
Accreditation / Voting - Start time- Finish time
Security -Arrived on time- Available- Not Available
Election Results -Election Results
Other Issues Violence, Ballot Box Snatching etc
