WHAT IS GLOBAL WARMING?

Global warming relates to the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's surface that has been observed in recent years, and it is projected to continue. It is debated as to whether this is a natural occurrence or whether human activity has impacted or accelerated it. This is enhanced by the greenhouse effect, which is induced by emissions of greenhouse gases into the air.

12. Five main groupings* PEOPLE - Health, Food, Water

use and Costs.

* FRESHWATER – Extreme wet,

extreme dry and Land ice.

* OCEANS – Sea level, Sea ice and

Ocean chemistry.

* ECOSYSTEMS – Lakes and

rivers, Land and Salt water.

* TEMPERATURE – Air, Ocean,

Water and Ground.

Conclusion

Global warming is due to the increased carbon

dioxide and greenhouse gases in air due to

pollution caused by human and it is predicted

that it will cause variety of negative effects.

Page 24: Global Worming

Thus to reduce the global warming we should

develop some steps for the prevention, we must

avoid unnecessary use of automobiles, plant

plenty of trees & recycle the objects and make

absolute use of non-conventional energy sources.

Page 25: Global Worming

Apart from that we should organize self-

awareness programmes, plan exhibitions in

different parts of countries to create awareness on

global warming. Also to slow down global

warming, adaptation schemes must be forwarded.

Constructing flood defences, banning buildings

close to sea areas are some of the measures we

can adapt.

Because together,

we can make a difference!
