Question1 - ConventionsAt the top of the page I have put a banner to show what issue the magazine is. I have also used one big title across the top of the page. With a one picture to fill the page, the way in which I have laid the writing and picture out I have made it seem that the picture is the most important thing on the page. As It is over lapping most thing on the page with exception to a bit of the writing.

The conventions of my magazine are similar to this magazine from “Blender”. The colours are mostly the same and also the picture has been made to look like the most important thing on the page. I have used simple text on the cover, although the text is very descriptive to what is in the magazine. The bar code has been placed in the bottom right corner as it is out of the way, and not that notice able.

Conventions Contents PageThe “Q” contents page is also conventional and it has formal text on the cover the layout is very organised and formal.

My contents page follows the same layout and colours as my front cover. This effective is use full as it keeps the magazine looking conventional. The picture in which I have used is simple and just a normal shot, although I have separated the picture from the rest of the writing. The colour scheme remains the same. However I have kept the writing to the left hand side. Also with the titles of the pages I have put a light grey box over the top to make them stand out more then the rest of the writing.

Audience The target audience for my magazine is any age really as it depends on if you like RnB music, although I think that the most age group that will buy the magazine are teenagers as they are more up to date with music, and like new music that comes out. Also the magazine shows teenage RnB artists for example Pixy Lott, Chipmunk ect. The colours of my magazine will draw more Unger people in as there are bright colours and with more names and artists on the cover which older people would recognise who they are.

Technology Some of the effects that used on al of my pictures are making the picture have a shadow, how I do this is a button at the bottom of the screen.

Anther simple thing that I have done with my work is change the colours of the writing.

Also a useful thing that I used is make the pictures and writing over lapping each other as the picture and the JV in the background.

Some thing that I have done is cut the background out of my picture this is simple to do when you, use the write tool and you fit then tool 2 cut the back ground by highering and lowering the tolerance

And my final product has changed quiet abit as I have added more brighter colours and changed how I have done the picture. Also I have added a shadow do the back of the picture to add a different effect. Also as you can see from the picture I still used the cropping tool to cut the background out this is a risky thing to do as it mite make the picture look not as good, however I think that I have cut the background well and the final product looks very good.Also I have expanded on my magazine name as “Exclusive” to added JV Exclusive this not much of a change however I think that it makes the magazine seem more ;like a music magazine, also on the back of the cover I have added something in this case it is JV to make the cover not look as blank like my pre-limb

Attracting The Audience

The ways in which I could get my magazine to sell are I would need to make it very colourful, make the magazine aesthetically pleasing. As when people walk past the magazine they will stop and look and hopefully buy the magazine. This magazine would be useful to anybody who like music that is in the charts such as new singles and likes to keep on there favourite artists. This magazine would stand out to teenagers who look on the magazine shelf in shops there eyes will draw to the bright colours and will make them want to buy the magazine.

Institutions • I think that a company that would buy the

music magazine that I have made, is Vibe as it is the same type of music magazine, and will feature the same kind of stuff. Also I think that they will like how I have made and put together the 3 pages. This magazine would be a good seller due to the information init and also would look better comparing to other magazine.
