LyricFor my coursework I am going to make a magazine cover, contents page and a double page spread. I have decided to call my magazine lyric and the magazine will focus mainly on indie music but it will also look at different types as well. My inspiration is Q magazine and NME who both look mainly at indie/rock music but look at different genres too.

Target AudienceMy magazine will be aimed at 16 years and over because I think that older people would also look at this magazine, like Q magazine and NME they do not aim at just young people they do a variety age target audience. It is also aimed at both males and females. Colour schemes

From looking at my research on my blog I have found that the main colours for this type of magazine is red white and black. And they also include some different colours. I will take this into consideration when making my magazine.

Institution

Q magazine Institution Emap- Emap is a British media company, specialising in the production of business-to-business magazines, and the organisation of business events and conferences. "EMAP" is an abbreviation of East Midland Allied Press. Mark Ellen and David Hepworth founded Q magazine because they felt it was a niche market as there wasn't a magazine for the older generation who were still buying CD's.

I feel that this Institution would be suitable for my magazine because it will look at different artist from different age groups to reach the target audiences.

Logo

These are some of the possible text font I will be using for my magazine logo. To decide I am going to ask people which text they think is the best and I will edit that text and use it as my logo.
