  2. 2. Online Viewings As of May 2013 the MailOnline has received 128.59. It has increased from 105.72 million in August 2012, and this makes it the world's most popular news site.

  4. 4. Website LayoutThe layout of the Mail Online is pretty straightforward with the main thing greeting you being the most important news stories of the day, which keeps people up to date with things that are happening every day.

On the right hand side, we see the social networking sites which means that you can keep even more up to date with whats happening and you can comment on the things that you find interesting.The further down the page you scroll, you see other news stories from different categories and this means that it will appeal to everyone and there is plenty of choice depending on what kind of story you want to read.

Their video section also means that their site will appeal to a wider audience as there are some people who prefer to watch videos as opposed to reading articles and this means that they too can keep up to date with the news and this gives reading the news online an advantage as they can then access the news in plenty of other formats as opposed to just articles.
  7. 7. The different sections of their site (this being health) means that people can access different categories of articles and this means it can be more personalised for them. Along the right hand side we can also see that theres a top headlines box which also means that they can keep up with what else is happening.
  8. 8. They also have a games section which means that it being in an online format people can access this whenever they want and they can play the same kind of games they would find in an actual paper as opposed to the online version.
