H: Well.. as I have already established in my book, my 3 main aims were: !) To destroy the Treaty of Versailles; 2) To create a greater Germany and 3) To conquer land for Germany in Eastern Europe. M: And how did you feel when you took over this area? H: The forty-eight hours after the march into the Rhineland were the most nerve-racking in my life. M: I Imagine sir. H: If France had then marched into the Rhineland, we would have had to withdraw with our tails between our legs. M: How were you so sure that Britain and France would not intervene? H: I knew that Britain was more worried about Communism than a beginning of a new war and so they thought that we would help stop the spread of Communism. Also they were busy with the Abyssinian Crisis. But I didn’t know France wouldn’t attack, I took risk. M: Was it risky to take all the troops there, even though it was established that the Rhineland should be a demilitarized zone? H: The reoccupation of the Rhineland by our troops, was the boldest task that I ever had to face and the most difficult to accomplish. M: Were you completely prepared to fight against any country that would have attacked you? H: At that time we had no army worth mentioning .... If the French had taken any action we would have been easily defeated; Our resistance would have been over in a few days. And the Air Force we had then was ridiculous. M: Thank you very much sir. H: My pleasure, goodbye. Well Done!! Good job!! Some minor corrections I will take care of. :) 8.5 (Eight fifty) Lenny.
