DESCRIPTION
This is the presentation I did on the 40th celebration of Portugal Freedom day at IGNITE Portugal. The topic was "Democracy and us" and I focused my presentation in how ordinary people are re-coining democracy as well as new ways to engage as a citizen in every possible sphere.

FRUTA FEIA, NOV’13: !26 producers enrolled >18 tones fruits & vegetables back to market (30% of fruit produced in Portugal & Europe is wasted) 2 centres opened, 1 more in September. > 300 people Lisbon area are served !!
REFOOD, MAR’11: !26 producers enrolled. 500 volunteers 100 restaurants 500 people daily feeded 10 cents/meal !
