    immediately head for shore as storms can

    sunscreen, first aid kit and extra sunglasses.

    heading out to on your boat and who is going with

    you.

    • Do not operate the watercraft while under the

    influence of any controlled substances, such as

    alcohol, drugs or over the counter medication that

    makes you drowsy.

    • Make sure you and all of your passengers are wearing

    life jackets that are approved by the Coast Guard. Life

    jackets should be worn at all times while on board.
