Finding Your Perfect Vaping Nicotine Level
E-cig nicotine levels may affect how enjoyable vaping is for you. Many considerations should be made
when contemplating the best option:
Taste and Throat Hit: Higher vape juice nicotine levels may give e-liquids a harsher taste and throat hit.
Some vapers prefer a lesser vaping nicotine level that gives a softer hit and allows them to enjoy the
flavor better.
Usage: A person who vapes only sparingly throughout the day might prosper with a greater nicotine
level. Folks who vape in longer sessions however, may believe the larger e-cig nicotine levels are too
much for them - possibly even causing dizziness or nausea.
Smoking Equivalency: For all vapers who once smoked, it is very important to find a nicotine level that
gives an equal amount of pleasure because they felt when they smoked. Someone who was once an
extremely heavy smoker may have a heavier nicotine level.
However, vaping is much diverse from smoking, and even some heavy smokers prefer a light nicotine
level.
Nicotine Levels for Sub-ohm Vaping
Sub-ohm vapers typically decide to vape juice with a lesser nicotine percentage. With these devices,
more volume of vapor is produced, and as a result, more nicotine is ingested. For this reason, people
who use sub-ohm devices can generally reach their “nicotine sweet spot” with a lesser nicotine level,
even if these were heavy smokers in the past.
Many sub-ohm vapers would recommend 6mg e-liquid nicotine levels or possibly a 3mg e juice;
specifically for those just beginning with sub-ohm devices. Higher nicotine levels, such as 24mg/mL
and 36mg/mL juices are not recommended for users of these types of devices.
