Linking / combining datasets major issue for Information Managers of SMEs (Open PSI data and initiatives have proliferated)

PSI Datasets, in most cases, not in a standard, machine-processable format which would support true semantic enrichment and interlinking of data (such as RDF).

Current Linked Data Tools => Academic, rather than Business Focus (IT-savvy researchers only)

Linked Data Converters - Disperse and limited on specific domains and formats.

Data-Driven Applications (e.g. Visualizations, Data mining) – No native support for Linked Data (tabular or relational only)

Transformation Engine for renovating and converting a wide range of supported data containers, structures and formats into arbitrary RDF graphs

A Repository for accessing and sharing Linked-Data vocabularies and metadata

Open Data Consumption

A Linked Data API will be deployed as a proxy to provide access in other widely established formats, based on the internal RDF data (RDF2Any)

A library of Visualization Tools for different data modalities that can consume output from the Linked Data API and generic web APIs.

A library of End-user Analytics and Data Mining Apps extended to use RDF as source format.
