My dad died when I was 11 and there were still 7
children living at home!

I have an idea to solve a problem
The (Make Believe) Land of 100% Responsibility*
takes back power where power has been lost.
In brief: You are the source of all that happens in
your life and, if you take responsibility, you can
restore your power. Change the words ‘fault’ and
‘blame’ into sources of opportunity, not guilt.

I have another idea to solve a problem
Islands of Safety
Create and catalogue all of the ‘safe harbors’ in your life,
places where you can go to recharge and be inspired.
Since the world is mostly ‘watery’/fluid- the ‘Inconsistent Sea’
- you can map out your ‘travel’ from one island to another,
spending less time in ‘over your head’ or ‘treading water’ - if
not ‘drowning’.
I have yet another idea to solve a problem
Solve Global Warming!
If we all observed one day ‘off’, like a personal Shabbat, each week
where we drove no cars, used no unnecessary lights, watched no TV
and just went ‘off the grid’, just for 24 hours, ONE day each week, the
harmful effects of global warming would by decreased by 1/7 per
living person!

I am credible
• I’ve been coaching for 15 years
• I have my own coaching business with families in
generational transition. I’ve ‘saved’ over 30 million
dollars of family businesses.
• I work with billion dollar multi-nationals as part of
a larger corporate coaching team
I am even more credible
I have 6 years worth of blogs on The Huffington
Post
I wrote a book based on the ‘positive coaching
model’ of Shakespeare’s Hamlet (Shakespeare?
Ooh, class!)
I have hundreds of people on my newsletter!
I have a great ‘back story’
I started off as a second generation Irish Catholic
and am now a North Shore Chicago area Orthodox
Jew
I was 50 pounds overweight and am now VERY fit
(through the very trendy Cross Fit and Paleo Diet
plans - Caveman Diet!)
I am comfortable in front of
an audience
• 18 years leading and facilitation group trainings and seminars
• 20 years as an actor
• MFA in Directing from DePaul’s prestigious Theatre School
• I studied Improv and know ‘yes, and . . .’
• People say: ‘Wow, you’re such a great speaker’ (I killed it for
my children’s bat and bar mitzvot!)
I can be funny in a ‘smart’ way
“So the square says to the
triangle: ‘Don’t be obtuse’!”
I’m political in a ‘safe way’
• I’m on the local arts council in my town
• I’ve founded a sort of ‘chamber of commerce for
not for profits’ to support local arts groups
• I wouldn’t watch FOX News* on a bet!
*News? Hah!
I’m connected to
a superb
international not
for profit
Bookwallah* provides libraries
and volunteer readers to
children in orphanages
throughout the world!
*I may be having fun with this
presentation but I’m serious
about the good Bookwallah
does!
I’m sort of
handsome in a
‘non threatening’
way
Come on, I look like a nice

Did I mention I’m now
Jewish?
MORE shocking back story: I had a very ‘personal’
operation in order to convert to Judaism!
