MEETING PURPOSE
Thank you for joining us and participating in this community discussion.
The purpose of this meeting is to take public comments on proposed service changes that will be effective on Monday, January 4, 2016. No final decisions have been made.

MEETING POLICIES
Be considerate of meeting attendees and COTA staff – please silence cell phones and other technology
When it is your turn to make a comment or ask a question, please remain at your seat and we will call on you
Ask one question at a time so the appropriate COTA staff member may address your comment
Comments and questions are limited to two (2) minutes per person
Participants are encouraged to complete comment cards

TIMELINES
COTA modifies service three times per year – the first Monday of:
• January• May• September
January 2016 changes will begin on Monday, January 4

TRANSIT SYSTEM REDESIGN (TSR)
A 2014 comprehensive review of the COTA network recommended improvements to better meet the needs of the growing and diverse communities of the region
Board adopted policy guidelines on service investment:
• 70% will be invested in high-ridership corridors
• 30% towards covering areas that are important to serve but currently attract low-ridership

TRANSIT SYSTEM REDESIGN (TSR)
Proposed improved network will feature more frequent service, simplified routes, and connections to new locations – with more service 7 days a week!
Public meetings will be held Oct. - Nov. 2015 • COTA will continue to
solicit public input throughout the two-year implementation process

ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS FOR AFFECTED CUSTOMERS
Although the TSR will provide transit access to more people in more places, some changes will result in reduced service in certain areas.

PROPOSED NEW SERVICE: 2 NORTH HIGH ST
Goal: Add service to connect Crosswoods Park & Ride to Ohio Health Westerville Medical Campus at Polaris Parkway and Africa Road
Proposed alignment: From Crosswoods Park & Ride – • East on Campus View Blvd.• North on Sancus Blvd.• Pull into Chase Polaris parking lot• East on Polaris Pkwy• End of the line: Ohio Health Westerville Medical Campus at Africa Rd

Goal: Extend service from Northern Lights Park & Ride to Easton Transit Center
Proposed New Alignment: From Northern Light Park & Ride – • Continue east on Innis Road• North on Sunbury Road• East on Easton Way• North on Stelzer Road to
Easton Transit Center
Cleveland and Innis Bus Stop
Service will no longer end in Northern Lights Shopping Center
Bus stop will remain at intersection of Cleveland & Innis

TEMPORARY STOP CHANGE: 58 DUBLIN & 59 DUBLIN/METRO – DALE DR. PARK & RIDE
GOAL: Due to construction changes & weather related delays, the Dublin commute lines will have a temporary Park & Ride location from November 2015 – Summer 2016
November 2015: Temporary Park & Ride will be moved to Village Parkway
Summer 2016: New Dublin Park & Ride will open 500 feet from the current Park & Ride

TEMPORARY STOP CHANGE: 6 MT VERNON & 92 JAMES/STELZER
GOAL: To avoid construction at VA Ambulatory Care Center starting in November, Line 6 (Local) and Line 92 (Crosstown) will have a temporary stop location for approximately a year
