Logo Creation To create our group logo for our film studio we used Google images to gather ideas and sample logos to help us decide on what would suit our style of film. We used photo shop pro cs5 to put it all together and create our final product. We created 2 logos and decided as a group that we would chose the suited skeleton logo over the ghost because it worked better with out noir horror genre.

This is the first logo we developed. When designing this logo we wanted to achieve both genres of noir and horror implemented into one design. This is shown through the detective coat as a symbol of noir style and the skull to impact the horror side, this was to impact the house style of the company. The name Mysterious Films was our first idea for the company to create a scene of not knowing what the films are

about and to create suspense and anticipation between the customers and the film. We then created this logo with the idea of covering the more noir side of the genres. This logo impacts the horror side through the skull but has a greater influence within the noir genre. The suit and bow tie combined with the fedora link to the stereotypical noir character and this is then reinforced by the use of the cards and the cigarette creating a

gambling effect showing a sense of risk and unpredictability in the films. The name we chose was Full House

Productions to back the impact of the image and it also emphasises that for the productions the film will achieve a full house audience. The logo was decided upon but to add to the noir them and suit the image we added some noir specific smoke to create a stronger impact of the film genres we will be making.
