• The use of cinematography extinguish a character it shows whether the character is good or bad. Cinematography is used well in taken as it can focus on the main Character but also show the scene of the film in different peoples perspectives.
• The story line is also an important factor the storyline is original but we were influenced through all of the films and we created a crime thriller. Our story line is good as it establishes the character quickly.
• Taken explores the crime thriller and provokes the audience into feeling fear and tension. We will use the character of James Woods to create enigmas and so the audience can connect with him like they connect with Liam Nelson in taken .
• Sound is one of the important things of a thriller, but it is only effective when used correctly, it is used to emphasis emotions and to enhance certain aspects of the film.
• Music is used well in contraband as it shows certain aspects of characters
• The editing had to be fast paced to ensure that it built tension, and it also had to be focused around the main character as this shows the audience who the main character is. The film taken uses fast paced editing well to build tension.
• The use of using a text came from the film uwantme2killhim? As the use of a phone is personal next to all of the people who would watch our film have a mobile phone, so they could connect with the character.
• The costume used was to be based on the contraband outfit as he isn’t a hero but just a normal character.
• Most crime thriller has an element of evil or has an element of interest within the first two minutes; this is shown in Se7en where the antagonist kills the first on of his victims. We don’t show the enemy in the first two minutes but the enemy texts the character of James woods about what to do.
