MAIN PROBLEMS TO BE TACKLED
• Responsible consumption not alwaysobserved (household and retail)
• High levels of food wastage at differentstages (food industry, distribution, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, schools, etc)
• Saturated landfills
LEGAL GAPS OR OBSTACLES
• Lack of appealing stimulus for donation (ley Donal)
• Inadequate tax advantages for donants (losscould be more profitable)
• Confusing and rigid expiry date system(Argentine Food Code)
