Evidence of Impact
1-Impact on schools
This program, helped the schools stay on their feet and continue educating future generations.
Without this program, Qartaba’s school would’ve closed, leaving hundreds of kids out of school.
2-Impact on families
Many families told the SW that this program prevented
them from taking dangerous roads to Turkey and fleeing by boat.
Also, without the financial help offered by this program
(tuition fees, transportation)
many students would’ve stayed out of school.
Evidence of Impact3-Impact on TeachersTeachers greatly benefited from different trainings ,that equipped them with practical tools to:-Manage overcrowded classes-Deal with students with different academic levels in the same classroom-Use positive discipline in class-Understand children’s difficult situation
4-Impact on Children
This program is designed first and foremost for Children.
-Children enjoyed and learned from the different
Psychosocial activities.
-Externalize emotions
-Less aggressive
-More focused in class
-Motivated to go to school
-Less bullying
-Improvement of overall wellbeing which translated into
positive results both
at home and school
…They played to heal , they played for Peace, they played to succeed!
