Page 2: Seven presentation

Image 1

Image 1 presents us with an image of a detailed drawing of two hands with a shadow across one of them, this could suggest this person is some sort of artist and maybe has two sides to their behavior as in they have a good side but also a sinister side. This picture could make the audience want to ask questions as in who this person could be and why have they drawn this image.

Image 2

• Image 2 presents us with the title of the name of the film, they have used a dark back ground and contrasted it with the bright, white text placed in the middle of the image. The font of the text is as if it has been written with a bold marker pen, this links into the images shown on screen as there are many drawings being shown throughout the opening of the film. This makes the audience wonder why the film is called seven and why there are so many images being shown along with it.

Image 3

• Image 3 presents us with an extreme close up of a persons hand holding a sharp object as if they are shredding their skin, this straight away makes the audience feel concerned and sick to the stomach as to why that person is doing the actions he is doing.

Image 6

• Image 6 presents us with a close up of the text the character has typed up or is reading from a book. it shows the character highlighting or crossing out different words spread out across the page, one being "transsexual".  This makes the audience wonder what the character is looking for and why is he highlighting or crossing out words to do with that.

Image 7

• Image 7 presents us with a drawn image of a boy who then gets his eyes crossed out but this big, black, bold marker pen. This starts to make the audience feel scared as this could mean the character dislikes boys, or some sort of gender to do with boys. As well as the drawn image, the titles are in a scary like font as if they have also been written with a felt tip.

Image 8

• mage 8 presents us with a distorted image of a photo being dipped in a liquid, but instead of it being black and white the top of the screen is red, this could symbolize something bad is going to happy as red is a connotation of something in a thriller as it represents death and danger.

Image 9

• Image 9 presents with a close up of a needle, yet again another sharp object involved. This could suggest the character likes sharp things, and by the looks of the opening sequence it looks like the character is creating a book full of movie tapes, writing and images, this all links to the titles as the titles are also hand written.
