Mr McEntee added he anticipated the two quattro lots will suit downsizers or busy working couples who were “looking for the same peaceful location, yet don’t want a large block to maintain.” The homesites are priced from $213,000 for the quattro lots and range in price from $274,000 - $284,000 for the larger homesites. Mr McEntee said Equis Lake was a peaceful place to live and had been designed to reflect the unique history and rural character of the site, a former equestrian centre. “Design elements such as gables, chimneys and window awnings will give homes at Equis Lake a traditional rural feel, while wide verandahs encourage neighbourly interaction,” he said. “It is a tranquil neighbourhood surrounded by nature, however is just a short drive from all the facilities in the Ellenbrook Town Centre.” Mr McEntee added that just 250 homes are planned for Equis Lake.
