The Project: Legacy Marina and Resort - a

marina and fishing lodge/resort development project located in the

serene southern end of Long Island, Bahamas. The Marina will have a minimum of 18 slips and

the fishing lodge will consist of 12 suites (in 2 accommodation types)

in the first phase of the project.

The Location: Legacy Marina is situated

advantageously on the western side of Long Island, also referred to as the south side of the island.

The location is within Ford's Channel, a natural channel with a

small public dock, where local islanders currently anchor their

boats.

The Need: Currently, the closest fuel-based docking

facilities (Clarence Town) are over 22 nautical miles away from the southern end

of the island. This particular marina is located on the eastern or north side of the

island. The next closest, Salt Pond Marina, is approximately 47 nautical miles to Ford’s Channel. Legacy Marina would be one of the first marinas when entering the Bahamas from the south and one of

the last when leaving the Bahamas.

The Features: This Marina will provide all of the

essentials to allow boaters, fisherman and cruisers every benefit

and luxury needed to experience a quaint “down-home” feeling while on “island time”. The fishing lodge will provide superb amenities to all guests who visit for both short-term

and extended stays to the island.
