• Since first emerging in the Bronx and Harlem, the lifestyle of hip hop culture has spread around the world.

• However, as Hip Hop has become more popular, the meaning and messages have changed to include negative things.

• Many who appreciate old school hip hop are trying to challenge the new hip hop. They don’ t want hip hop to be used in a bad way.
