1. Act as Account Owners • What would you do if you were the owner of

the business?

• What should you expect to be done if you were a customer of this company?

• Given the decision you are about to make, what impact will this have on your customer’s desire to come back and buy from you again?

• What can you personally do to ensure my customers recommend my company to their friends & associates?

2. Stop losing customers

• Research suggests that more than 60% of the customers will leave our company because of a negative experience.

• So put the needs and desires of your customers first but not at the cost of your business.

• Debate with yourself of ways to stop losing customers and important prospects to our competitors.

3. Sales is about creating belief in the eyes of our customer • We need to make our

customers believe in us! If they don’t believe they wont buy!

• Suggest me 5 ways to make our customer have deeper levels of belief and confidence in us.

4. Prepare to go the extra mile for our customers • We need to thrill our

customers. Give them reasons to do our word of mouth marketing for us.

• Suggest % ways we can go the extra mile for our customers.

5. Have crystal clear goals and programme them deep into your subconscious mind • Write down the goals for

this year as per your understanding and tell me.

6. Create your own luck

• Luck is the crossroads of opportunity and preparation.

• Sow at least one new seed of opportunity each day for a whole week.

• Keep repeating this practise and success will come to you.

7. Celebrate Success

• It does not have to be lavish and expensive but will motivate you and your teammates to keep going.

8. Embrace Failure • If you are not failing you’re not trying

hard enough.

• Taken in the right spirit it gives you wisdom & judgement, allowing you to take more sensible decisions for future.

• Keep a track of your failures, learn from them how differently you could have handled the given situation would have landed you in a successful position.

9. Turn yourself into product experts

• Make sure you know the products inside out and the benefits they offer.

• Start from 1 product. Choose what you like for yourself and grow with it.

• Keep updating yourself time to time.

10. Know your customer & market inside out. • The more you know about your

customer, the more you can adapt and respond to their changing needs.

• Focus on your customer, market and industry.

• Learn about our competitors and where our company fits within overall industry sector.

11. Develop your public speaking skills • It develops confidence in

you that customers will pick up on.

• It forces you to know your subject.

12. Your customers pay your salary

• Calculate your salary as a proportion of an average customer sale.

13. Get packed with positive energy • Only positive people with positive

energy will grow and create results.

• Negative energy will bring you only failures and morals down of you and your teammates.

• Bad attitude will affect your performance and your dignity.

• Keep a check on yourself time to time and learn to grow as a team.

14. Be persistent and never give up

• Persistence requires you to think differently, be creative and flexible.

• Never accept no for an answer.

15. Hustle. Have urgency

• There is a famous saying that good things come to those who wait. What is often left off in that saying is that “is from those who hustle”.

16. Value time

• Learn to utilize every minute of yours productively.

• If you don’t respect time, it will not respect you.

17. Eliminate complacency & create the right environment for you • Stop taking things for granted and

work for them.

• Take immediate action to fix complacency in your area.

• Have fun at work

• Expect to achieve outstanding results because if you don’t you won’t.

18. Have total honesty, integrity, respect & trust with yourself & others

• Creating successful long term sales with repeatable revenue from clients requires a backbone of honesty, integrity, respect & trust

19. Do it for the love of it. Not just for the money

• Successful sales people are driven by their passion for their products & services.

• Money only comes by giving customers what they want and understanding it is all about our customers.

20. Recognise that the success of your company is in your hands

• Each one of us have total responsibility for the success of our company.

• Find the missing elements within your scope of work which are stopping our company from becoming the dominant player in the market.
