Contact 1 - At the Party!

Hosting a party needs to be fun and a “night-off” for your Host – so keeping it simple for her is KEY!

Review these 5 quick points at the party:

1. Select date/time/theme

2. Decide how to invite people / Date guest list is due

3. Review Host Packet

4. Friend her on Facebook on the spot!

5. Tell her to expect Host Connection email from you

Select date, time & theme

• A booking without a date is not a booking!

• Use the special “sparkle” dates we discussed in the last session to make choosing a date easy!

• Pick a convenient time for Host and guests

• Offer a couple of theme ideas to help generate excitement before the party.

Decide Invitation Method/Guest List Due Date

• Discuss who will send invites and how. (You may prefer to do this so you can ensure they go out in time –reduces cancellations! It’s less work for your Host!)

• We recommend sending invites using 2-3 different methods.

• Red Stamp makes it easy to send an invitation via text or post on Facebook.

• Glam Central emails will auto generate reminder emails and increase outside orders.

• Let Host know you need the guest list within 3 days.

Host Packet

Give your Host a Host Packet at the party and review the contents with her:

• 2 catalogs

• 5 order forms to collect outside orders

• 1 Host Brochure for guest list and wish list

• 10 extra blank invitation postcards

• Host & Guest special flyer

• 1 Sparkle Brochure

• 1 Tic Tac Toe Host Sheet

Become Facebook Friends

• Friend her on Facebook on the spot.

• Create a Facebook event for her party or post to her wall to generate excitement before the party!

• Great way to increase attendance and outside orders.

• Don’t RELY on Facebook alone!

• Host Connection Email –• More Tips for a successful party

• Link to create Wish List online and set party goals

• Monitor RSVP’s from guests and send party reminders!

• Text and email her the Unique Party Link so she can send it to contacts for more outside orders. (This is found on the guest list page of Host Connection)

Getting the Guest List is so important!

• Identify how many are on her guest list• Help her add more people if needed• Add guests to her party in Host Connection and send

invites• Track RSVP’s (see who’s opened or not and invite

another way)• Increase outside orders with unique party link• Decreases chance of postponing the party

• Helps her set a goal for attendance, outside orders, sales and bookings

Contact 2 – 3 Days Later

• Follow-up 3 days after your initial Host Coaching to get the Host’s Guest List.

• Send invitations ASAP in a variety of ways:• Call (Personal invitation = more attendees)• Mail Postcards (Something FUN in your mail!!!)• Text – using Red Stamp invite and Unique Party Link• Facebook - using Red Stamp invite and Unique Party Link• Email – using Host Connection Invitations & Auto Reminders

• Make sure you have your Host’s Wish List so you can keep her excited about what she’s going to earn.

• Continue to post on her facebook page every couple of days.

Contact 3 – 1 Week Before Party

• Most Important Call!

• Reassure her she’ll have a great party!

• Help her get more RSVP’s

• Recommend script for her guest reminder calls / text.

• Encourage guests to bring a friend

• Automatic Reminder Emails

• Ask about outside orders? Potential bookings?

• Invite her to the next Opportunity Call

• How are reminders going?

• Help her get a few more outside orders.

• Ask her if she has any concerns / questions?

• Confirm directions / arrival time

• Remind her to keep refreshments simple

• Show your appreciation and excitement!

Pre-Guest Arrival

• Use your set-up time at the Host’s house as a chance to learn more about your Host and her guests.

• Get her final wish list and discuss when they party will close.

• Review outside orders.

• Ask who might be interested in booking a party? In the opportunity?

• Set up quickly so you can help your Host and greet guests at the door.
