The man who first proposed the idea of continental drift; was Alfred Wegner

Born on November 1st in Berlin Germany

Alfred had a PhD in astronomy

And he also enjoyed browsing through the library

Page 3: Continental drift by Patrick Anderson

He was intrigued by some books

That showed fossil similarities

He had some ideas and it shows

So now he knows

Page 4: Continental drift by Patrick Anderson

Continental drift

Continental drift

It really does exist

Continental drift

Continental drift

The study’s show it exists

The coastlines

Match up similarly

Wagner’s on a role

And nobody can stop him now

Page 5: Continental drift by Patrick Anderson

It’s funny how a thought

Can turn into a theory

Alfred saw these slabs of earth

And called them tectonic plates

Page 6: Continental drift by Patrick Anderson

But other scientists thought he was crazy

So he went out and was not lazy

He looked for proof and he found some

Now he can’t lose!!!!

Continental Drift

Continental Drift

It really does exist

Continental drift

Continental drift

The fossils match up

An ocean

Separates them,

But how are they the same

Page 8: Continental drift by Patrick Anderson

There really are three kinds of boundaries

Divergent boundaries separate and go away from each other

Convergent boundaries make mountains and

Trenches

And transform plate boundaries

Carry objects in opposite directions

Continental Drift

Continental Drift

It really does exist

Continental drift

Continental drift

The evidence supports it

Here we stand

With this knowledge in hand

Let the earth plate’s move!!!!!

We can’t feel them anyway.
